A book full of sample code

I am a very experienced test automator and C# developer. I was looking for a quick start into Webdriver in C# after spending years using WatiN as my .net web automation engine. What I found in this book was no explanation of the underlying concepts or why something is done, just chapter after chapter of "how to click a button, how to check a checkbox".
There is a lot more detail that is easier to understand in the free, online documents on the Selenium website.

I am so happy I found this book. I have the Kindle version. It has been extremely helpful in my UI automation work. It feels a little like a quick start guide to me. It doesn't go super deep or advanced into any one topic but it covers a lot of ground very quickly. It has great examples for C# in full real context not just little snippets. And every piece of the given examples is fully explained. Also there is a lot of great references to the more advanced and in depth topics not directly covered in the book. If you are looking for a good book on UI automation in C# I highly recommend this one.

This book is amateur, inaccurate and badly written

Mr. Salunke is a complete amateur. His writing is awkward, incomplete and poorly organized. You will waste your money to buy this book. It is clear the author has little experience in documentation, and I have to question if he really understands the subject. The links are often not correct. I am so sorry I wasted money on this book. Given Mr. Salunke's abilities, it should have sold for $5, and then I think I'm being generous.
