About the Author
Carnegie fue promotor de lo que en la actualidad se conoce como asunci�n de responsabilidades, aunque esto s�lo aparece puntualmente en sus escritos. Una de las ideas centrales de sus libros es que resulta posible cambiar el comportamiento de los dem�s si cambiamos nuestra actitud hacia ellos. Naci� en 1888 en Maryville (Missouri) y era el segundo hijo de James William y Amanda Elizabeth Carnegie. Se cri� en una granja y, en su juventud, trabaj� en el campo mientras realizaba sus estudios en el State Teacher's College en Warrensburg, donde se gradu� como maestro de escuela. Durante sus estudios, recibi� una influencia wesleyana en su pensamiento, gracias a su profesor Roberth Art, quien lo ayud� a conocer el sentir del trato humanitario. Su primer trabajo tras la universidad fue como vendedor de cursos por correspondencia para hacendados (rancheros). Luego pas� a ser vendedor de tocino, jab�n y manteca de la empresa Armour & Company. Tuvo tanto �xito que consigui� que su zona, Omaha del Sur, fuese l�der nacional de ventas para la empresa.

Me encanta!! I loved this book so much when I read it in English that I also wanted to read it in Spanish, and also share with my mom who speaks only Spanish. I highly recommend it.
